Adam Gonczarek

Biography

Adam Gonczarek is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Alphamoon, a company providing intelligent automation and machine learning products for different industries. Adam obtained his PhD in machine learning from Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He gained his experience working as an AI team leader on various R&D and commercial projects for large industries and startups. He has co-authored several scientific papers in top-tier journals and prestigious conferences. He is also an experienced academic lecturer.

80% of Accuracy, Yet Only 5% of Automation? How to Implement Intelligent Automation to Gain From Both?

In recent years AI algorithms have successfully achieved or even surpassed human-level performance in various tasks from different domains. This naturally designates them as the missing piece to achieve full automation across distinct processes. For the systems without the human-level accuracy in order to ensure desired quality every transaction has to be double-checked manually, which in practice limits the true level of automation. During the talk, Adam will cover how to increase the automation level with continually improving the accuracy whilst keeping human-level performance at the same time.
