Building a Bot LIVE

This workshop will provide a deep insight into RPA. It’s a fun activity that will expose as many elements of the journey of an RPA project as possible so that you can get a taste of what it’s like to build a robot and it’s challenges depending on your role. This session is aimed at anyone interested in RPA regardless of your role i.e. Managers, Business Analysts, Developers as the information shared will cover a diverse range of real world scenarios when working on an RPA Project

  • Part I – Introduction to RPA and the technology
    • An introduction to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and basic functionality of UiPath
  • Part II – Build and Test Robot
    • Development of the robot based on the ideas we come up in the session and also testing to ensure the robot we have built works as expected
  • Part III – Reflection
    • Retrospective look at the work done in the workshop and a Q&A relating to the application of this technology in the real world

Trainer

Azim Zicar is an RPA Consultant that has been working with Robotic Process Automation technology since 2016. He is a Blue Prism Certified Professional Developer and UiPath Certified Advanced Developer and has worked with clients in various industries as a Lead developer and has developed, co-developed and supervised development of over 50 robots on various RPA platforms. Beyond the technical expertise, he has also been involved in the early development of various RPA CoEs and is able to provide strategic insights that help with understanding the business challenges that come along with implementing this technology in your business.
